OTP Windows Logon

Gemalto’s Protiva One Time Password (OTP) for Windows provides a secure connection to corporate networks without the need for a VPN. This demonstration shows the integration of our Protiva OTP solution with Microsoft Direct Access and Window 7 OS. With this combination, both end users and IT administrators benefit from a simple, easy-to-use logon without the need to remember or reset a complex password. Remote workers can use the OTP device to connect seamlessly to networked applications without a separate VPN. This saves time and money, and provides strong authentication while delivering a convenient end user experience.

Secure mail in the cloud

A key challenge of Cloud Computing is the storage of the Private PKI credentials
We demonstrate how a mobile phone or a secure device inside it (SIM or secure memory card) can be used as a secure storage for private PKI credentials. The demo shows how those credentials can be used remotely via a trusted network link by either a webmail or a tablet secure email application.
Using this approach makes possible nomadic access to secured mails (encrypted and/or signed) - from any terminal , while having the PKI credentials stored in a trustworthy manner. This can greatly facilitate the adoption of secure email.

Securing eServices

Gemalto’s Coesys eGov 2.0 solution spearheads the increasingly popular citizen-centric approach (also known as eGovernment 2.0) and represents a paradigm shift in the delivery of smart card-based services over the web.
Coesys eGov 2.0 ‘s post issuance feature allows end-users to securely update their cards with new applications and attributes (e.g. renew digital certificates and upload new applications). It involves zero-client installation, is platform and browser independent, is end-to-end secure, and offers direct connectivity and simplicity when adding new rights and applications on the card.

Valimo Mobile ID puts your electronic ID into your mobile phone

Mobile ID can complement eID deployment by giving the citizen or a corporate user the option of using their mobile phone as a strong authentication device, or an electronic signing device compliant with the EU digital signature directive (advanced electronic signature using an SSCD, the SIM card).

Authenticating and signing couldn’t be simpler or easier for the end user. They just enter their PIN and the SIM card takes care of the rest, securely and quickly. In the security industry it’s rare when usability and user acceptance don’t have to be sacrificed to achieve strong security!
