Mobile Financial Services

Mobile Financial and Mobile NFC Services commercially deployed by Gemalto’s partners.
The visit starts with a mobile NFC payment solution rolled-out this summer by Vodafone during a festival in Hungary. Next come the mobile NFC services available in France under the Cityzi brand. These include NFC ticketing with Veolia transport as well as couponing and loyalty services. Finally there’s the range of mobile financial services deployed by Redeban in Colombia where citizens can now access any banking service on the spot via their mobiles.

Financial servicesEMV Remote Issuance

This demo shows how cards can be issued in batch mode in regional locations and close to consumers. Preparation of EMV data and key management is performed in a central location. With Gemalto’s support, this is the perfect solution for banks and small personalization bureaus that need to provide a fast issuance service for new cards, but don’t have local EMV expertise. The solution can also be provided as a service (SaaS) where Gemalto hosts and manages data preparation and key management.
