Securing better healthcare

One of the biggest challenges facing healthcare providers around the world is managing the massive move to the eletronic environment in the next few years.  Each country's requirements are different, but every e-Healthcare project features securing electronic storage of patient data and administrating securely the use of e-Health cards.
At Gemalto, we are dedicated to providing tailored e-Healthcare IT solutions.  To this end, we have recently become a vendor partner of US SAFE-BioPharma Association.  Our expertise in several countries around the world also includes hardware solutions with examples of Sealys terminals implementation specially designed for the German market.

When security meets simplicity

In a world where access to networks and buildings is under endlessly evolving threats, organizations are increasing emphasis on security issues.  Our solutions deliver key benefits providing multi-factor authentication using fingerprint biometrics as recently announced for Windows® 7 platform.  Gemalto is a trusted security partner in several countries around the world, and has joined the McAfee® Security Innovation Alliance.

Enjoying e-Citizenship

Public-sector bodies are deploying electronic infrastructures across a range of functions to combat ID fraud.  Gemalto has recently helped Lithuania launch digital citizen cards in a nationwide roll-out of 900,000 units.
To date, we have supplied over six million electronic student cards for universities around the world and our performance scored strong satisfaction according to a national survey on the use of eID student cards in Poland.
