Device Administration Service
Hosted Web service for issuing and administering Gemalto .NET devices

The Allynis Device Administration Service (DAS) is a web-based provisioning, administration and support service for all Gemalto .NET strong authentication devices. Using Gemalto’s unique SConnect technology, it enables IT administrators to perform routine deployment and device management services via a web browser interface, and also features an end-user portal to support routine tasks such as PIN updates and resets.
 

This hosted service is available through Gemalto's worldwide reseller network and is fully supported and maintained by Gemalto. DAS offers several advantages, including:

• Ease-of-use and minimal learning curve due to simple and intuitive browser-based interface
   
• IT organizations have full control over security because end-user administrative keys are diversified through the DAS Controller, under sole control of the IT administrator
   
• 24 x 7 availability - DAS is backed by Gemalto with a rigorous SLA (Service Level Agreement) that ensures continuous availability of the service

The service is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers and runs on Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. The DAS service includes both an Admin Portal for IT usage and a User Portal with end-user self service capabilities.
