With the acquisitions of Xiring, a pioneer of EMV based strong authentication solutions for e-banking and e-commerce, and Valimo Wireless, the world leader in mobile authentication; Gemalto enriches Ezio e-banking solutions portfolio to:

• Connectable smart card based readers with associated secure tunneling enabling banks to expand their e-channel with secure digital signature. (online loans, insurance contracts, etc…)

• Mobile ID solution & digital signature with a software client in the SIM to generate a legally binding electronic signature, any time, any place, enabling mobile phone users to securely authenticate themselves, digitally sign documents and confirm legally binding transactions simply by entering a self-chosen passphrase or a PIN code.
