Gemalto’s e-Banking offer comprises several authentication solutions. These include tokens providing OTPs (One-Time-Passwords), readers using consumers’ EMV cards and the highly secure Ezio Plug&Sign solution. This uses USB*-connected keys enabling legally binding digital signature thanks to PKI**.

Plug & Sign in a nutshell

Ezio Plug&Sign is a USB key incorporating flash memory with a PKI smart card. It helps banks speed up online banking access and secures all exchanges done over the web by customers.

Digital signature

Once inserted, the user gains automatic access to the bank’s website, authenticates himself and signs transactions or documents.
Plug&Sign brings a complete non repudiation framework to the computer. Bundled with e-Signer, the “What You See Is What You Sign” software, no data can be counterfeited.

Smooth administration

As a stand-alone device, Plug&Sign works on any PC and soon any Mac, providing the same user experience in one click, leaving no trace on the computer thus delivering zero footprint.
Plug&Sign can be used as a standalone platform or linked to a dedicated Token Management System to update content. It then becomes an evolutionary solution, providing day-to-day remote management.
