Government Identity

Responding to US government security needs, Gemalto provides a Government Identity solution that delivers a NIST certified, GSA approved solution that responds to HSPD 12 and FIPS 201 requirements for secure federal employee Ids.

Gemalto's Government Identity solution complies with the FIPS201 standard as required by HSPD-12. All components, from smart cards and readers to software and from smart cards and readers to software and services – are interoperable and readily deployable so that government agencies may meet the HSPD-12 mandate and timeframe. The solution is designed for easy integration with legacy systems, e.g. for physical access control, and is fully interoperable with existing and new identity management systems.
