LTE represents a change to a world where people will have "anytime, anywhere"
access. As our devices come together for faster communication of larger amounts
of content over an all-IP network, security is going to matter more than ever.
The UICC will help realize the potential of LTE - from the IMS network that lets
us be "always on," to paying with our mobile phone, and even
watching TV. It could even mean a complete overhaul to the U.S. mobile telecommunications
industry. Most importantly, the UICC will give us the security to be free in our
digital lives, ensuring comfort and confidence using LTE in the years to come.
