NFC trials worldwide

To date there have been many NFC trials all over the world in which Gemalto has been involved. These include, for example:

• Bouygues Telecom, RATP in Paris metro (2006), France
   
• New York City Mobile Trial: contactless ticketing in some city subway stations (started December 2006), USA
   
• Rabobank, the Netherlands: contactless payment in supermarkets (September 2007)
   
• Taipei Fubon Bank and Taiwan Mobile: making contactless payments and downloading bargain offers
   
• Payez Mobile : wide mobile payment pilot involving 4 mobile operators (Bouygues Telecom, NRJ Mobile, Orange, SFR), 8 large banks (BNP Paribas, CIC, Crédit Agricole, Crédit Mutuel, Caisse d’Epargne, Banque Postale, LCL, Société Générale), Visa and MasterCard in France with payment in two cities (November 2007)
   
• JCB, KPN in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (November 2006)
   
• FarEasTone, Taishin Bank, Visa in Taiwan (November 2007)
