Gemalto Wins Two Awards at LTE World Summit 2011: "Best contribution to LTE standards" and "Best enabling technology"

 

Amsterdam, May 19, 2011 - Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, announces it has won two Informa LTE Awards in the “Best contribution to LTE standards“ and “Best enabling technology“ categories at the LTE World Summit 2011. The awards recognize Gemalto’s innovation capacity, which materializes in a range of complete LTE solutions.
 
Gemalto’s solutions include the LTE Full-IP Over-the-Air platform for instant subscription activation and the LTE Universal Integrated Circuit Cards (UICC) for secure user authentication to 4G networks and access to IP-based multimedia services.
