Gemplus Joins 3G Americas' Board of Governors

Bellevue, WA - May 24, 2004 - 3G Americas today announces that Gemplus, a leading provider of smart card solutions, is the newest member of its Board of Governors, effective 2004. Gemplus joins a Board comprised of leading operators and manufacturers that support the GSM family of technologies throughout the Americas, as well as the adoption of next generation wireless technologies and services.
