Small and flexible for more services

Specially designed for quick time to market multi-application card programs, GemMAP is the first applet to combine 3 specific applications :

  • Loyalty : rewards programs based on bonus points
  • E-purse : private e-cash or voucher loading
  • Identity : authentication at the POS or "over the internet" , access control and identification for facilities booking

Loaded on Java Card, GemMAP allows you to offer additional value added services to the traditional payment functions without any particular specifications development.In order to launch a flexible solution, Gemplus limited the size of the applet choosing the minimal but useful applications.
