Gemalto introduces Digital Signature Service (DSS) in its Coesys eGov 2.0 solution

Gemalto’s DSS capability allows easy deployment of any Digital Signature scheme using national eID cards by drastically simplifying the interface between Identity Providers and Service Providers (eGovernment services, Internet Banking, eHealth portals…). Service Providers now have the possibility to delegate the signature process to another entity (Identity Provider). With Gemalto’s DSS, the signature process is now a service. The signature operation happens without the need for client software, thanks to Coesys eGov 2.0 architecture.
