The 2009 edition of TELL ME, our annual appointment where we listen to what customers have to say, has been launched. This survey is of paramount importance in order to help you increase your trust on Gemalto and help us identify areas of improvement. Seven of our top customers in Public Telephony have been selected.  Like last year and following your feedback, we will carry out an action plan to improve all aspects of our collaboration with you in order to better answer your needs.

 

Your comments and suggestions today will guide us in shaping tomorrow's solutions.


The TELL ME 2009 campaign

LISTENING PROGRAM

The 2009 edition of Tell Me will take place between June 15th and October 16th. A pool of 200 interviewers will contact and gather feedback from 580 customers-all business activities from over 170 different key accounts, representing 55% of Gemalto revenue. Seven accounts for the Public Telephony activity will be part of this panel.

The overall results of the Tell Me campaign will be available at the end of November.


Success Story..., the South African's experience

 
  • GUMA: Card manufacturer for African market based in South Africa, 

  • Market context:

> GUMA is a card manufacturer for African market mainly for TELKOM operator- South Africa,
> Beginning 2009, GUMA about to produce the 100th million card for Telkom decided to launch a promotional campaign,
> With TELKOM & partners support, a specific card was created and a dedicated festive campaign was also carefully planned:

- With a road show all around the country,
- With a closing ceremony with TELKOM management, partners, GUMA employees.

  • Objectives:

> Promote the Public Telephony activity
> Create enthusiasm & dynamism
> Gain and develop the market


With this operation, more than 4 million of cards were sold over a 2 month-period.
