Machine-to-Machine

The wireless M2M market is increasingly growing worldwide. It covers a wide array of applications including remote management, industrial data collection, intrusion control and healthcare. 

 

However, M2M imposes new demands and a standard SIM card is not optimized for the job. This new, industrial environment requires a card that:

• resists extremes of vibration, temperature, and humidity
• has a life span from 5 to 10 years
• is tamper-proof.

A SIM range for industrial environment

• M2M^Plug 85:
  - standard SIM card format
  - ideal for replacement of classic SIM in existing modems
  - suitable for environments up to 85°C
• M2M^Plug  105:
  - standard SIM card format but made with a more robust material
  - ideal for replacement of classic SIM in existing modems
  - resistant to up to 105°C
• ^FullM2M:
  - miniaturized format, for environments requiring small modules
  - invulnerable to theft
  - semiconductor packaging (SMD) resistant to high temperature (105°C), shocks, vibrations and humidity
