 SharedPhone’s solution transforms a standard GSM handset into a mobile payphone. Users can buy airtime at reduced rates, set and store their own tariffs on the SIM, and then sell calls to anyone without a mobile of their own. Distributors are able to set-up a “network of vendors”, sub-distributors, that are managed dynamically by the technology into several levels, thereby introducing pervasive employment opportunities into the re-charge voucher, prepaid vending and value added services distribution chain.
