An accurate vision of handsets in the field, coupled with subscriber identification, ensures service compatibility and maximizes service use.

The SIM card complete with a detection applet can identity on your behalf which handset your subscriber is using, helping you to better tailor your service offer.

Each time a new subscriber or handset is in use, a trigger is sent to the server which updates the subscriber profi le. The backend system takes appropriate actions to revise business opportunities and subscriber segmentation. You can also track the new IMEI to protect your subscriber in case of a lost (or stolen) phone.

The subscriber’s privacy is preserved as they can authorize or deny the update to be performed. However, it is the customer’s best interest, as well as yours, to make sure your records track the exact handset model used.

For remote device management, customer care and proposals of new services, an up-to-date subscriber database, including the correct handset model, will help you deliver services to the right targets. Your customers will receive applications and services that suit their handset model.

This translates into greater customer satisfaction and lower costs of customer care with your call centers. It also helps you to better segment your services offerings with an accurate picture of handset capabilities in the field.
