Gemalto at GITEX Technology Week 2015

Dubai, 5 Oct. 2015 - Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, will  showcase its vision for a seamlessly connected, secure and sustainable digital future at this year's Dubai GITEX Technology Week. Spanning the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Banking, Smart Government and Mobile Authentication, the firm will present an array of innovative use cases and interactive demos in Hall 7, Stand A7-30, including exclusive solutions and world's first previews. 

  • Driving towards the Internet of Secure Things, Gemalto will demonstrate how its Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions and platform can boost a shopper's online retail experience by conveniently serving up smart deliveries with secure track-and-trace information. A mHealth smart pill dispenser with remote monitoring and assisted living features, will also be presented. 
  • Meanwhile, on the Digital Banking front, the wearable Optelio Pay Band will illustrate the future of payments. Build as a multi-purpose solution, this new cashless, contactless payment wristband can serve as a prepaid payment device, a transportation card, or a crowd management solution at large-scale events. Also included in the demo line-up will be the company's latest Dynamic Code Verification card, which with its periodically changing three-digit security code is set to curb online fraud. 
  • As the mobile revolution continues with fast growing BYOD trends, the company will preview for the first time in the region its SafeNet Bluetooth Smart solution, which provides a convenient and secure Bluetooth based PKI authentication solution therefore compatible with multiple devices. Gemalto's offering, further reinforced by the integration of SafeNet, secure digital value added applications, services and data, from the core of the network to its furthest edge. Gemalto's data encryption and latest mobile authentication solutions will be showcased in Hall 2, Stand A2-3A. 
  • Rounding off this line-up will be Gemalto's Smart Government demo pod with solutions supporting trusted and convenient Public eServices deployment. For instance, the firm's Coesys mGov solution is a new mobile strong digital authentication tool that enables citizens to safely and conveniently access online government services using a combination of their contactless national eID card and NFC phone. Other solutions including secure eServices Kiosk, eRegistration and mobile eVerification will also be showcased.
