SafeNet Reader CT1100

The CT1100 badge holder uses low-power Bluetooth as a communication channel to tablets and smartphones, allowing for strong, PKI-based authentication on any device, even those without a USB port or internal reader. The CT1100 badge holder is a lightweight device, with one click-simple and secure AES encrypted pairing using an inserted smart card. With Bluetooth Smart 4.0, no physical connection is needed and the badge holder has automatic detection within proximity of the designated mobile device, laptop or desktop. The badge holder has more than 3 months standby battery life, more than 15 working days in standard use case and charges through a USB port.
